Champagne Brunch Cruise: The Hornblower

Champagne Brunch Cruise: The Hornblower

Hornblower Cruises offers various sailings in San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Berkley, New York, Marina Del Rey, Newport Beach, and Long Beach, with different types of cruises from whale watching, lobster dinners, and my favorite, brunch!

The San Diego champagne brunch cruise docked out of the San Diego Harbor, which is where the cruise ship terminal is. The sailing took us around San Diego, under the Coronado Bridge, and alongside the skyline for ideal photos

The brunch was served buffet style with a variety of both lunch and breakfast options such as prime rib, fresh roasted turkey, eggs benedict, a dessert bar, fruit, and pastries.

The cruise started out with the buffet opening, and staying open the majority of the cruise. The champagne was free pouring the entire sailing as well. The cruise embarked around the San Diego Harbor, slowly cruising under the Coronado Bridge, around Seaport Village, and returning back to dock after two hours of sailing.

The Hornblower Cruises are perfect for locals wanting a unique experience of San Diego, a friend-get-together, birthdays (the birthday person cruises free), or a romantic date, which is what we did! For San Diegans who love to sail and cruise, this is the perfect way to spend an afternoon! My favorite part of the cruise was the photo opportunities that are not able to be seen from land.

The Hornblower is ideal for travelers in San Diego to be able to experience an activity on the water, which is what San Diego is so well-known for! With less than a mile from the airport and cruise terminal, this is the perfect activity to do right when you arrive, or right before you are on your way out! With a variety of cruise options, there is something for everyone!

Tip: ask for a window table for the best view!
